Membership Details

  • Guest Pass

  1. Maximum of 2 guests (adults or children) per visit per membership (individual, family, or buddy). Limited to 6 guest passes (combination of adult and child) per membership (individual, family, or buddy) per year.

  • 12 Month Access

  1. One-year membership for 12 months from the month of enrollment (i.e. enroll April, membership ends March 31 of next year)

  2. Your acceptance is contingent upon the arrival of your membership ID.

  • Limited Membership Club

  1. Rainbow Valley Fishing Club is a Limited Membership Club that is open to Members and their accompanied paid guests.

  • Location

  1. Rainbow Valley Fishing Club is located on Rainbow Valley Ranch. The Ranch consists of 72 acres located near the intersection of State Highway 67 and County Road 61 in Teller County, Colorado. The property encompasses forested areas and open areas with meadow grasses.

  • Fishing and activities (Ice fishing with separate ice fishing agreement and waiver of liability)

  1. There are 7 man-made lakes and 2 year-round streams: Four Mile Creek and Putney Creek run through the Ranch. Rainbow Valley Fishing Club Members may use the Ranch to fish, run, hike, bicycle, and picnic. Fishing is catch and release only. Ranch hours for outdoor activities are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Only members who sign the Ice Fishing agreement and waiver of liability are permitted to ice fish.

  • Lodge Access

  1. Members have access to The Lodge's main room, restrooms, kitchen, and patio during club hours. Members may reserve the entire lodge for special events for an additional fee. During these special events, members may only have access to the restrooms.

Rules

Regular Season Access – The regular fishing season is from May 1st to October 31st each year.  Members are granted access from May 1st to Oct 31st.  Ranch hours for outdoor activities are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Ice Fishing Season – Only Members who sign the ice fishing season agreement and waiver of liability are able to ice fish.  See these documents for additional information.

Entrants - Membership grants access to specific persons listed on the application and paid guests with passes. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a Member. All Members 18 years of age and younger must be attended by an adult member.

Reservations – Members are required to notify Ranch Management with their name, anticipated date, and time of arrival for each day of use by texting: (719) 351-4030.

Accountability - All Members will present a membership card. Member agrees to never “loan” their access card. Membership is non-transferable to any other party.

Fishing- All Lakes and Streams are Catch and Release ONLY. All Lakes and Streams are fly, lure, and barbless hooks ONLY. No LIVE bait. No motors are permitted on lakes. Canoes, waders and personal floats are permitted. Fishing may not be permitted on certain lakes at specific times. Please obey “no fishing” signs.

Pets - Pets are not allowed.

Alcohol - Member understands that any person having a public display of alcohol intoxication will be asked to leave. Repeat or vagrant offense will result in terminated membership.

Firearms – The discharge of firearms of any kind is strictly prohibited on the Ranch.

Community - Member agrees to be courteous to other members, respect Lodge reservations, deposit trash in provided receptacles, and respect all Ranch property and personnel. Some cabins and homes on the Ranch are occupied by long-term residents.  Please respect their privacy by staying in permitted areas.

Lodge Use – Members have access to The Lodge's main room, restrooms, kitchen, and patio during club hours. Members may reserve the entire lodge for special events for an additional fee. During these special events, members may only have access to the restrooms. Please help maintain the Lodge by throwing away your trash, turning off lights, and notifying management of any maintenance issues.

Parking- Parking is in designated areas only. Vehicles may only be driven on designated roadways. Driving on the access roads around the lakes is prohibited.

ATV’s and Off-Road Vehicles - To maintain the serenity of the Ranch, no ATVs or Off-Road Vehicles will be allowed to drive on the Ranch except for use by Ranch ownership.

No Burning- The Ranch is a no burn area and no burning of any kind except by Ranch ownership in the designated burn pit or by guests with special permission to use the fire pit granted by Ranch ownership.

Rules Violation- If at any time Fishing Club or Ranch Management deems a member to be in violation of Fishing Club Rules, the member will leave the premises, and future access will be denied.
